I was very disappointed to find that gTask Sidebar is not available for the Macintosh. I have come up with a hack version of gTask Sidebar for Mac. I simply bookmarked the mobile version of Google Tasks and then set the bookmark to open up in the sidebar. Easy :)
Step 1. Bookmark http://mail.google.com/tasks/android.
Step 2. Check on the check box that reads “Load this bookmark in sidebar”.
Its not a perfect solution. The edge of the notes get cut off a bit because Firefox will not allow me to open the sidebar wide enough, but its been very handy for me.
