I started this project a while back when I was slightly obsessed with After Effects. Its more fun when you have a slow computer and loud speakers. The chime will wake you up from a dead sleep when your render is done.
Creating 3 dimensional drawing from edges sort of brought this about. At the time there was a concept out to create laser projection video from 3 color supermarket scanners. The possibilities are really endless since those scanners can both input and output. With RGB one could output in full color. The part that really interested me was that they could detect distance and color as well. With one line moving over an object details start to emerge. How could I visualize this event as its happening.
The output was a video that combines some simple photo light effects and a little AE magic.
