American Express donated $750,000 to support the organization’s goal of providing safe places for children to learn and grow. Additionally, they launched a website for Card members to make donations directly to BGCA. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the art director on this project. After visiting the BGCA, I was overwhelmed by how many kids used their facilities and how much fun they were all having. I wanted to share the fun with every AMEX member.
The final site was designed to feel like you were looking at a desk in any of the Boys and Girls clubs. The items in the photo were chosen to highlight the core goals of the BGCA. When a user clicked on any of the items they would be presented with a sideshow including a voice over from a child of the BGCA.
